LOCATION

KM13 is located in the historic old town of Tribsees, at Karl-Marx-Straße 13. The building was founded as a pharmacy in 1709 and served medical care for more than three centuries.

With the relocation of the pharmacy, this use came to an end, and the building was left facing an uncertain future – a situation that is not uncommon in the historic centre of Tribsees and points to vacancy, structural decay and a lack of viable perspectives for reuse.

With KM13, the building is re-envisioned as a cultural site. Following its conversion, it will be used for contemporary visual art.
